Welcome to
Rhino Ridge guest farm
Rhino Ridge Guest Farm lies about 85 km east of Gobabis, on the way to the Trans-Kalahari border with Botswana. We're off the main road and reached only by 4x4 — which is exactly why it still feels this wild. Four cosy self-catering chalets and a family unit sleep up to 15 guests around a central boma, braai area and swimming pool, with game wandering past the veranda and sundowners waiting on the dunes.

Our Story
We keep things intentionally small. Between our four chalets and our family unit, we can host up to 15 guests — and we only ever take one group or one family at a time. There's no shared dining room, no other cars in the driveway, no negotiating pool chairs. When you're here, the farm is yours.
Our main gathering area — the boma braai and swimming pool — sits at the heart of the farm, where you can watch the Kalahari afternoon light fade over a fire, or cool off with a view of the waterhole. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cutlery, crockery and cooking essentials you'll need; you just bring your own food and drinks, and settle in.
This is a place for slow mornings, self-driven game drives, dusty boots, and star-filled skies — run by people who know this land and are always happy to help you make the most of it.
When you book Rhino Ridge, the whole farm is yours!
No other cars in the driveway. No shared dining room. Just you, the bush, and the fire at the boma.
- Where you'll stay -
Rest easy
Choose between one of our four private chalets, each with a double bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, or the Family Unit, with its own master bedroom and children's room for up to six. Every stay comes with luxurious bedding, daily cleaning, and a veranda where the wildlife does the visiting.
- What you'll do -
Make your own days
There's no set itinerary at Rhino Ridge. Take your 4x4 out along our farm routes for a self-drive game viewing, set off on foot along the walking trails, or head up to the dunes for sundowners as the sky turns orange. Birdwatchers will find plenty around the waterhole, and when you'd rather stay close, the pool and boma are never far from the action.
